Our firm has performed on the market since 1999. The headquarters of 'Krysztalowy Swiat' is situated in Wieliczka, in the close vicinity of Wieliczka Salt Mine the oldest polish salt company which origins reaches back to Middle Ages. The aforementioned mine entered the UNESCO's First World List of Cultural and Natural Heritage on 8th September 1978, together with 11 other sites from around the world.
Basing on traditions and experience of Wieliczka Salt Mine and its Underground Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre, we manufacture salt plates, salt panels, we design and build salt chambers, salt grottos and salt caves. We furthermore make interior designs using salt. We execute our orders on the highest possible level, providing our clients with efficient and prompt installation as well as certified appliances. If required all the spare parts to these appliances are in our stock. We also offer guarantee services, including after guarantee service as well as constant customer's service on demand.

„Krysztalowy Swiat” on the 1st All-Polish SPA & Wellness Fair, which took place in Lodz between 12 an 14 August 2008. We won the first price in the exhibition stands contest.
Newsweek's Poland DIPLOMA. 1st in the world Salt Chamber restaurant made by „Krysztalowy Swiat” won the competition organised by Newsweek Poland in the category of 'the best interior design' in 2005.

The progenitor and investor of the following project was Grzegorz Pajdak the Chairman of „Krysztalowy Swiat” company. An opening ceremony was attended by numerous celebrities from Poland and abroad, among whom were: Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, world-famous opera singer peter Dvorsky, Ambassador of Czech Republic, the Slovakian Consul, Marshal of the Sejm Marek Borowski, Wieliczka Salt Mine board of directors and many others.

Salt flats
A playa; also known as an alkali flat, sabkha, or salt flat; is a dry lakebed, generally the shore of, or a remnant of, an endorheic lake. Such flats consist of fine-grained sediments infused with alkali salts. Their surface is generally very dry, hard and smooth in the summer months, but wet and very soft in the winter months. While the playa itself will be devoid of vegetation, they are commonly ringed by shadscale, saltbrush and other salt-tolerant plants that provide critical winter fodder for livestock and other herbivores.Another type of playa is a salina. They are very rare, with only 3 on Earth. A salina flat occurs below sea level, behind a rocky, non-porous beach that salt water can easily penetrate through to mix with fresh water from the ground or other sources.
Many playas contain shallow lakes in the winter, especially during wet years. If the layer of water is thin and is moved around the playa by the wind, an exceedingly hard and smooth surface can develop. Thicker layers of water can result in a "cracked-mud" surface and "teepee" structure desiccation features. Very little water can result in dune formation.
The extremely flat, smooth, and hard surfaces of playas make them ideal surfaces for motor vehicles. Large-sized playas are further excellent spots for pursuing land speed records, as the smoothness of the surface allows low-clearance vehicles to travel very fast without risk of disruption by surface irregularities, and the course of travel does not need to be too precise to avoid obstacles. The playas at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah and Black Rock Desert in Nevada have both been used for setting land speed records.
Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, near Potosν, is the largest salt flat in the world at 4,085 square miles (10,582 square km), which is about 25 times bigger than the Bonneville Salt Flats.
